What is DB Cruiser?
 
DB Cruiser is a web based database access tool with reporting and bulk data loading functionality. It allows you to access SQL databases from your web browsers; to explore information about databases; to view and manipulate data, including CLOB (Character Large Object) and BLOB (Binary Large Object); to generate reports; and to load bulk data into tables, etc.

In other words, DB Cruiser is a database access tool with:

  • Web Access: Access databases from web browsers without installing any software in the desktop PC.
  • Multiple Databases Support: Any database with JDBC 2.0 or later version driver is supported.
  • Report Functionality: A full functioned HTML and PDF Report generator. It also generates reports for spreadsheets.
  • Bulk Data Loading, Transfer or Covert Bulk Data between Databases: load bulk data in many formats, including spreadsheets, and user defined delimiters. Transfer or Covert between Databases, or even between different database products.

DB Cruiser has been in used with many real production databases, with tables of millions of rows. It has been proven of high performance - even better than many similar desktop applications.

Since DB Cruiser is a web application, it only needs to be installed once on a server, and then anyone can access any SQL database in the organization from browsers without installing any software on the desktop computers, as long as the database has JDBC 2.0 or later version drivers.
